Midwest Foundation Corporation was established in 1969 by Jerome A. Green. Originally specializing in pile driving, Midwest Foundation Corporation is now involved in major bridge construction and rehabilitation, bridge demolition, marine work, docks, terminals and lock and dam rehabilitations throughout the Midwestern United States and Texas. Working primarily on and along the Illinois River, the Missouri River, the Ohio River, Inland Lakes and the Mississippi River, Midwest Foundation Corporation utilizes various heavy construction equipment including a wide variety of cranes, excavators, pile hammers, barges and tug boats. Midwest has earned a good reputation with owners, receiving various awards for outstanding service from the Illinois DOT and Missouri DOT, the Rock Island and St. Louis Army Corps of Engineers Districts and from the AGC of Illinois. In July of 2012, Midwest Foundation formed a Construction Management Division specializing in building construction and owner representation services. Our second project under contract was providing owner representative services for Knoxville CUSD #202 on the design and construction of their new high school project.
Gulf Intracoastal Waterway Bridge in Matagorda, Texas published in The American Segmental Bridge Institute Segments Fall 2008 Volume 52 Newsletter! On December 31, 2007 Midwest Foundation Corp. and Halverson Construction Co. were awarded a Joint Venture contract for building the new Mt.Carmel Bridge over the Wabash River in Southeastern Illinois.
